Our research continues on adding ignition resistance to recycled polyester fibers while they are in a melted state.

Once this R&D is completed, we will revolutionize the home textiles sector. With the expected unlimited durability of this feature, the risk of fire in hospitals, nursing homes, children’s care homes, and prisons is planned to be minimized.

Research has been conducted since 2022 to create more voluminous but lighter fibers by stretching polyester fibers. As a result of this research, fabrics made from these fibers will have a more compact appearance but will be lighter, resulting in savings due to the use of less raw material.
